We went on the Everest st Base Camp Trek May 2019 and we couldn’t say better things about Ian Taylor Trekking and our guides. Our trip was absolutely fantastic. Our lead guide (Kami) was phenomenal. We went a slow and steady pace the entire journey providing us time to acclimate and recover with each step along the way. Other groups would wiz by only to be found later stopped for long periods of time trying to catch their breath. The pace honestly made the trip for us. We were able to really take in the views, drink plenty of water, and continuously be able to acclimate throughout the climb. The accommodations were fantastic. We stayed in the best tea houses along the way and the food was delicious. Our guides were very caring the entire way through and provided immense support throughout our trek.

We had 100% success on reaching base camp in our group and although it was a difficult trek, we felt great when we got there! The knowledge of our guides was top notch. We made sure that each and everyday we drank 5L of water and ate a full breakfast lunch and dinner. It was difficult at times, but we stayed healthy, our muscles weren’t sore, and we had no signs or symptoms of altitude sickness. We followed the packing list and all the information provided by Ian Taylor Trek king and didn’t need anything else. We had everything we needed to make the journey successful and comfortable. We will absolutely be thinking about Ian Taylor Trekking when we make our choice to trek across the world again! Thank you for having such a great company and the best guides on the mountain!
