Winter skills Mountaineering courses in Scotland

Join one of our mountaineering courses led by world class mountain guides. We run a range of winter mountaineering courses from January to April each year. We have designed our weekend courses with you in mind. We can also run private group bookings. These courses are designed for beginners and advanced climbers preparing for altitude climbs around the world. We even have a specific weekend with the specific training needed for Himalayan fixed line climbing.

We will tailor the weekend with specific training requirements. You will learn the basics, then move onto technical terrain and practice these skills. We will coach you on using crampons, ice axes, how to move on snow, ice and rock. Also check out our Ski winter skills training in Norway.

Our trips are led by world class guides who have climbed Mount Everest multiple times and led Expeditions on 7 continents over the past two decades. Our courses are designed with your trip in mind. Tailoring the content with specific training in mind. You can take away what you have learned and practice with local guides to re-enforce what you learned in Scotland. Our guides will also be giving advice and information on further training and preparation you will need to make. These courses start from $570.
